This weekend wraps up a very successful indoor soccer season at GPS with more than 150 teams competing in the New England Futsal Fest. “The participation in this futsal event has been overwhelming, with over 150 teams participating, I believe this makes is the 2nd largest futsal event in the region. That said, we’re ready to start playing outside again!” Says GPS Tournament Director, James Hamblin.
The Junior division will be comprised of 350 teams while the Showcase has 250 teams playing over the weekend. Each tournament guarantees a minimum of 3 games for the athletes with fierce pre-season competition for the 7v7, 9v9 and 11v11 tournament.
