Saturday was a day full of Youth Academy games for our hosts at the FCB Campus, who got the opportunity to see on the field what has been explained during the week in the classroom. Thereafter staff and players went directly to the Allianz Arena to watch the first team game against FC Augsburg, with FC Bayern winning 3-0 in a sold out (as always) stadium.
Finally, on Sunday the group had the chance to attend an open first team training session and meet with Jupp Heynckes, the legendary FCB Coach, who recently achieved his 500th win in Bundesliga (as a player and as a coach).
“The third technical visit was another huge success. We were able to witness a truly wonderful week of football with the added bonus of seeing two of our own boys there participating in FCB Junior Team sessions,” said Luke Krawczyk, GPS Carolina General Manager, who lead the group in Munich.
